This course is designed for students who want an enriched and challenging history course while meeting state course requirements. The course will follow the curriculum for World History, but it will be more in-depth. The approach to this course will be global, comparative and analytical. This course is a study of the events and forces which have shaped human life since the year 1400. The events and forces studied are political, social, or economic in nature. Students will be expected to participate in class in a variety of ways, including but not limited to, note taking, group work, writing assignments, and class projects.
